Crocosmia

One of BrambleBlossom's plantings in our garden. There were some flowers on some shoots, but I liked the almost symmetry of the buds on this one.

We had a walk around Calf Hey Reservoir (aka the Grane Res) involving some exploring, picking about 50 bilberries (aka whimberry), and then meeting an old friend from when I worked at Blackburn College. If we hadn't deviated along the Rossendale Way then we would have missed him.
