Evening Sky

I had another slow start to my day.  I eventually went out for a walk by the river, admiring the beautiful wild flowers, before picking up provisions for tea on my way back home.  It was then home for lunch and  to rescue my washing before a very heavy shower soaked it.
 
The weather did brighten up, so I hung more washing out and then TT and I popped over to Musselburgh.  We walked up to Inveresk, admiring all the big houses, stopping for a look around Inveresk Garden, before carrying on our way through the fields and back down by the river. 
 
I was on tea, so got that sorted while TT was pottering in the garden.  It was such a lovely evening that I went out for another walk, but I had to cut it short as it started to rain.  I was pretty damp by the time I got back home.
 
This was the sky this evening, once the rain started.  The rainbow is in the extras, as well as a poppy field we walked by this afternoon.
