Thursday: Today’s Plants
Pouring with rain at 7am, no wind and not very warm either - rain eased off around 2pm and I gambled on putting clothes out to dry. By late afternoon the sky went dark again … we saw temporary blue sky early evening …
Acanthus spinosus - spiny bear’s breeches.
Francoa sonchifolia - Bridalwreath plant. Bees visiting the pink flowers, when the rain eases off.
Ophiopogon nigra - black ornamental grass, has tiny flowers which are the same colours as the grass!
Green and white grass, didn’t have a label :-(
Watched a few episodes of “Spooks” this evening.
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
