Slither of Light
A morning at the allotment weeding, tidying, and picking berries - red currants, black currants, boysenberries, and strawberries. In the process I lost my secateurs. I hunted all over the allotment for them including in the compost bins with no success. I’ll look again tomorrow as, having had them for many years, I was rather fond of them.
An afternoon doing a little light gardening and watching the ladies semi-finals from Wimbledon. Both very enjoyable matches to watch with both going to three sets.
I’ve not managed to take a photo during the day so this photo of the evening light creeping into a darkened room is for #AbstractThursday.
Grateful:
- For a dry and sunny day good for outdoor activities.
- To hear gold finches singing as I worked at the allotment.
- To sit and eat lunch with Andy outside in the garden.
