How To Annoy A Farmer

Just about to head back when I spied deer in the farmer's field through a gap in the trees. To my surprise there were two young males with antlers feeding on his crop.

I don't recall seeing a male in daylight before, let alone two. The antlers look furry which makes me think they're adolescents.

Reminds me of the joke -
Q. "How do you annoy a farmer?"
A. "Tread on his corn".
