Aperture on Life

Scurdiness Lighthouse

Seen from the North Bank of the South River Esk, I caught
rays of sunshine beaming down on the Scurdiness Lighthouse. The day was mainly grey and I wasn't hoping to see any.
The Lighthouse is only a short walk from my house but I don't go there enough. My working hours are as unsocial as ever and most days I have barely enough time to get home at midday before I have to return, let alone the cost of fuel to complete the 30-mile round trip to Laurencekirk and back. Although you can't call it summer this year, the long summer days are an incentive to get out and about a bit more.
