Lovely day out with Ma in Tyntesfield. I was impressed how easy the bus from town was and we even met an adorable dog on the walk from the bus stop.

Really lovely gardens, 2 lovely cafes (we sampled both obviously) and a great shop (I bought a plant). The house was very nice and they had just finished filming an Agatha Christie tv show - due to air on Christmas Day - so really interesting to see all of the filming bits too.

Back home briefly then walked Ma back to the station. In the evening we went up to Bill and Madds to celebrate Beano’s 3rd birthday. They’ve just had their garden done and it was Beano’s first day of being allowed on the grass so he was very happy. He did discover that he hates hot air balloons though (pic in extras was taken just before this revelation).
