Up Up and Away

Today I enjoyed a birthday present for my birthday in April. We finally booked an afternoon flight in an air balloon over Oxfordshire. 
My first balloon flight so a big thank you to my son and daughter in law.

It was a big balloon with a basket for 16 participants plus the pilot. We were fortunate to enjoy warm weather, some sunshine and no rain. The take off was easy and the landing was very smooth, the basket settled level so no drama.

The flight was very smooth and the views were splendid.The whole experience has been exciting and very memorable.
