Flowers for a friend...
The countdown is on to Andrew and Nikki's wedding on Wednesday. Excitement levels building :-))
With this in mind my plan for today was to try on my outfit in its entirety to make sure I am 100% happy with it. Tough if I'm not as it's too late to do anything about it now. Thankfully I am happy with it in that hyper critical way that haunts women so my attention then turned to what to wear for the rest of the time we are at Loch Lomond. Along with family and some friends, we have rented a lodge and will be staying on the shores of the Loch Tuesday till Friday. Family dinner the evening after the wedding so another excuse to get dressed up. Day out with the girls on the Thursday afternoon while the men golf, then will stop off for a nice lunch somewhere on the way home on Friday. So lots of outfits to plan! Good fun :-)
After lunch I spent a little while in the studio painting another sympathy card, this time for my friend Marion (who was Alan's classroom assistant in Primary school and his first proper support worker) whose mum passed away. This is the sixth sympathy card I've sent in the last four weeks. D says we've reached that stage of life where funerals are now part of everyday life rather than a rare occurrence :-(
Worked some more on my new crochet project. I love how complicated it looks when it's really very simple. And it crochets quite quickly.
Agnes and Adrian coming up tomorrow. We had planned to have lunch here then D and Adrian play golf, then have dinner at the golf club, but Adrian is English so suspect he might want to watch the Euros final :D That being the case we will have lunch at the golf club and dinner here.
Que viva España ;-)))))
Oh and it's the last day of the Scottish Open! Come on Bob!!
