Oh Dear!

Of course that's not what I said when this cake eventually came out of the cake tin! My words were a little stronger!!

Amy had requested a blueberry ring cake with cream cream frosting as her birthday cake, for her party tomorrow. Now I've made this cake before and it simply fell out of the tin last time. But of course when you really need it to work, what happens?! Not even cream cheese frosting could hide this!

Luckily we have an M&S at the end of the road, so this evening we made a mad dash to get a replacement birthday cake.

On the plus, the blueberry cake is delicious so Mark and I will have a lovely dessert this evening... every cloud!
