Steamy Sunday

I had such plans for this photo.
I was going to set up the tripod low, pre-focus, set exposure, burst of flash to bring out detail.
I didn’t plan on bumping into a 90 year old neighbour on my walk to the station who wanted to natter. So I duly nattered.
As a result I ran onto the platform & could hear the train already approaching. I grabbed the camera out of the bag, turned on the flash, took one photo hand held. And it was gone. I hadn’t quite expected it would go through at full speed either.
Anyway, it was still great to see it, however briefly.
