Quiet Weekend
I have been feeling awful all weekend, not helped by the damp weather here.
I did some Duolingo music and Ukrainian today, Day 91 after many breaks in my learning streaks.
I am very grateful for the donations to my paced walking fundraiser in aid of breast cancer, they have really cheered me up and encouraged me to keep going throughout the second half of July.
My physical and mental health is very poor at present, I have a week of appointments, it will be a challenge. Chronic pain and fatigue is so relentless.
Having vowed on Friday evening to have a full weekend of rest, I ventured out for a shorter paced walk this evening in the drizzle, hoping that some gentle walking would help ease my agony.
I have rested for the majority of the weekend but still feeling fatigued and pained. Hopefully I get some support tomorrow.
I am feeling incredibly disappointed in my Mum today. Her behaviour is predictable, feeling too upset tonight to write about it but will tomorrow.
I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend :)
I really wanted England to win Euro 2024 but sadly Spain played better and triumphed.
If you would like to support me in my paced walking fundraiser, here is the link:
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Giving Page. Due to having fibromyalgia and joint hypermobility syndrome, I will undertake this challenge by doing paced walking (with mobility aids as necessary). I am a chronic asthma warrior too.
I plan to undertake a paced walking challenge throughout July 2024 for breast cancer research for all those living with the disease. This is for you and for all those no longer with us.
I have lost many friends and family to different cancers (oesophageal cancer, stomach cancer, bowel cancer and breast cancer) and my Mum is a Stage 2 breast cancer survivor thanks to advances in screening, treatments and research.
