La Fête Nationale

Fireworks in Fabrezan this evening. They always put on a fabulous show, really impressive for a small village. Who needs Carcassonne when this is available five minutes down the road? A couple more in extras. I used fireworks mode on the small camera again. It's a bit hit and miss as you can't predict exactly where the starbursts are going to be when you press the shutter. Also, I noted that the battery was almost flat before they started, so I put the spare in and discovered it was even flatter, because I'd forgotten to charge it last time. Doh. So I was abstemious with my shots.

There were hundreds of people there. We got a good spot on the bridge and managed to squeeze S and T in beside us when they turned up. We didn't stay long: a quick chat, a check of the football result (¡ Vamos !) and off home.
