Lovely!

At the Haynes Motor Museum today with two grandsons and their father: what lovely machinery!  Even the US cars looked good (Extra), albeit as museum pieces, not as seriously useful vehicles.

But this lovely Porsche remains my first love, generated when I hitched around France, German and Denmark during the Easter holidays from school when I was 16 years old.  The noise of Porsches screaming up the autoroute and autobahn slipways (past  our outstretched thumbs) remains imprinted on my brain all these years later.
