A right Royal rainstorm

To get this quick glimpse of the King and Queen, we had to walk up a steep hill a fair bit out of town and got soaked to the skin by a thunderstorm which threw down buckets of rain. A kind equally soggy bystander gave me a tissue to wipe my phone. The sun cracked out just as the royal party appeared around a bend.  

There was little chance of seeing them during their itinerary earlier, as so many people were in the way, I mean lining the relatively small area where their majesties were at large.

I'm not sure why this seemed so important to me today. But I'm glad the visit was a success.
