2024 Monday — Clear Skies

Yesterday afternoon under gray skies we drove 4-miles south to Morro Bay to meet friends for dinner. Several hours later as we drove north, back to Cayucos, we could hardly believe the gray was completely gone. We could see blue sky and blue ocean. Since July 4th we have hardly seen the sun.

Today we enjoyed sunshine for the length of this day. We have enjoyed the previous cool days and we’ve known that our fog and gray sky is because of the extreme high temperatures inland and we were thrilled not to experience the heat.

This photo is what we were seeing today. The view was spectacular.
