The Carse

Today's the day ......................... to get ready

There was a new horse in the field at The Carse today when I looked over the hedge - a wicker one.

There were lots of flags flying along the boundary too, including the one above which is the Kirkcudbrightshire flag.  There were the beginnings of marquees, car park signs and other indications that this is where the 2024 Kirkcudbright Country Fair is going to take place this weekend.

A big poster promises 'two-days of family entertainment, with performances from The Sheep Show, the Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show, and Ben Long Falconry Displays.  There will be stalls, the Art & Crafts tent and delicious treats at the food & drink tent.  And best of all, plenty of FREE children’s entertainment to keep the little ones engaged .........................'
