A Grand Day Out

So many photos to choose from today...  
As the forecast was good we had decided to go to Scarborough for the day. First we got the little train to the North Bay beach. Lando enjoyed waving to everyone we passed.
It is safe to say he was "living his best life" on the beach. Spending ages in the sea and playing in the sand. We took it in turns to watch him so all got a chance to relax as well.
Eventually we got a train back to Peasholm Park where we all went on a dragon boat. No naval warfare show today though! 
We had several family holidays in Scarborough about 20 years ago so it was nice to go back with Lando.
On the way home Frank and I had a quick stop in Thornton Le Dale. I've seen this cottage (extra) so many times on Instagram and I have to say it actually exceeded my expectations! 
A great day and we were all in bed by 9pm.
