An enigma, wrapped in a fur coat riddle

You would think that Dubbie lays like this to show how approachable and trusting she is. She is neither.

You would also think that I don't like to brush my cats/dogs. I do, tho. I actually find grooming to be very soothing and will sometimes brush Cooper when I need to work something out without really thinking about it. I mention Cooper specifically because he's the only one of our pets who enjoys being brushed.

Dubbie can be 7 pounds of ninja cat fury. Especially if she's been into the mail and found some envelope sticky to lick. I suspected that was what was behind this pose, so I took the picture and then grabbed the brush, thinking she was zoned out. She was not.
