Purple Loosestrife

It’s a bit of a recovery day with a gentle afternoon walk breaking up periods of quiet reading and catching up with journals. 

I’d hoped for some lovely big skies for Wide Wednesday’s challenge, but by the time we go out the clouds have transformed the sky into a rather boring mishmash of white and grey. 

No matter, though, as the paths are edged with wild flowers, my favourite being this 
Purple Loosestrife - or at least I hope it is!
