Kaleidoscope

I got not one bit of sleep last night.
Why?
The amount of things I have to deal with at the moment, that I have to get out, get in the car, and drive to the place, find a non existent parking space, and get in the building, find a receptionist/living person who will deal with my issue after I have got through to them that I cannot use a telephone, is too overwhelming at the moment. I have always had to do this all my life, but I am getting older now...

I went out early to sort business, came back, no energy to do any food shopping, but I had pushed myself too far mentally and physically to do this morning. I collapsed on top of my bed when I got back, and went into a deep sleep. Midnight thought I was cold so spread his huge furry black bulk over my chest and legs. Fortunately he has gone outside now, and I am trying to wake up, but I still need more sleep.

Anyway this morning was successful for an appointment in a months time. And hopefully I can make further appointments, for a short while at least from the previous visit. There is only telephone communication now at my doctors, there used to be fax, there used to be email, there used to be texts and more that I could communicate with individual nurses and doctors and receptionists directly, but all that went kaput with Covid and lockdowns. You cannot even use a video with them, because they say their telephone system is too old to support that, and this is why they can't get any new docs to take over the practice.

I have an appointment for mid August - gives me time to breathe while I sort other important stuff out...

Creative...kaleidoscope in Laboscope again. The yellow flower is St John's Wort.

All the small birds are playing in the garden. There is one single bumble bee doing the zoomies. Wood pigeons and blackbirds. And I seem to have acquired a skinny rather manky looking magpie, who is doing his best to dismantle my bird fat ball feeders. He has torn the top off each one, but I don't begrudge him...

Now I need my sleep...

My fridge and freezer are both struggling in this heat. Fridge is nearly on the highest number, and freezer the same. Any more heat and it won't be cold enough for my food...

Good night at 3.30pm...
