Dance of the Fisherman

Meri-Kaarina, Niina and myself drove to Saaristokeskus to see performance Dance of the Fisherman. There was three dancers and three organisator. It was the most fascinating production! 

Dance of the Fisherman is built around the local stories of leisure fishermen as well as commercial fishermen and their families. The performance is a combination of storytelling, dance, movement and fishing. The audience accompanies the performers walking around the harbour area where they hear local fishing stories surrounded by impressive soundscapes with the marine horizon in the background.

Light rain started in the afternoon. We had archipelago style dinner in the villa again, sauna and Yatzy game night. I was too tired to paint today. Tomorrow is another day!
