Magnolia moment

The magnolia tree at the church where I work part time is blooming again. I thought it was done for the season as the old bloom stems were making the seed pods. This bud and bloom are on the sunny side of the tree. Apparently it likes the hot hot sunshine.

My poor grass is dying as we have not had any rain during these high 90s days. It has rained all around us though. Maybe today will be our day.
