The Log

This is Merlin on our morning walk standing next to ‘the log’. I’m not sure what happened to this tree or how long it’s been there but it is a well loved feature in the meadow and forms a focal point for children playing and picnics. We’ve also taught Merlin to wait for us there when he has run ahead on the footpath.

A sunny day which reached 27 degrees, so quite a change from the cool weather we’ve had for most of the summer.

Grateful:
- To get the grass cut at the allotment before lunch and to return with two bunches of sweet peas.
- To make a start on tidying up the garage.It was relatively cool in there.
- To see more butterflies in the meadow and garden today.
