Eco Printed Leaves (AT473)

A short of time blip!

Gill was at a workshop yesterday on Eco Printing where leaves are tightly rolled in fabric (silk?) and then heated in  'rusty water' to transfer some of the pigment and so leave a print of the leaves - although not necessarily the same colour.

The results are not 100% predictable but once fixed (salt solution) dried and mounted they look really impressive.   This is at the fixed and dried stage.
