I was hoping for a butterfly in the garden but even on the hottest day of the year so far ... no.

I heard this biplane though and rushed to get the camera with the telephoto lens. I got four shots as it was departing after its aerobatics. I didn't realise until I saw the pics on my computer that there was a wing walker. Not a great image as even with the telephoto it is heavily cropped. I hope you can make it out.

The grandsons are due this evening, but I fear it may be quite late when they get here.

In other news I've been on the phone a lot sorting out stuff for the new car. The insurance was a bit weird. The current insurers won't insure a Kia. So I've got to cancel and re-insure with another company.

The current car. One of the companies I was trying to get a price from insisted I send phone photos of any/all scratches, which I found impossible to get. They said any scratches found when they came to collect would reduce the price. I'm beginning to think I should have accepted the low part exchange offer.
