Goodbye, Hello.

The hottest day of the year. 27C

Today we said goodbye to our neighbours, b & S who moved nextdoor 22 years ago when the old coach house was turned into a house.
They are now downsizing to a new house in Mirfield.
We will miss them especially MrC as he and S spent many a happy hour chatting over the fence!

However time moves on and we now have new neighbours A and S who have only moved from another part of the village.

After watching an exciting finish to today’s LeTour I have been sat out in the garden reading. Nice to have a cool shady spot.

This is the first flower on a new dahlia which I bought a few weeks ago. Hopefully the bees will love it too.

Now to have a cool glass of rosé before starting to cook salmon parcels for our evening meal.
