Redclaw and Clematis
I’ve blipped both of these blooms from the garden earlier in the year, when they were just coming out. Now, in the heat of July, they are going over but are still lovely bright jewel colours at the moment.
I had a decent drive back to Tiptree last night, setting off at about 9pm. It had cooled down from the sticky afternoon temperatures, and there wasn’t much traffic so I had a good clear run. I slept very well.
My sister came over to the bungalow today, to help me move some boxes and the last bits of surplus furniture out to the garage ready for next Friday. I prefer to park my car in the garage, but will have to use the driveway for a couple of weeks until I’ve either utilised or disposed of all the things that are in there. After lunch we took the two enormous televisions out of the house (far too big for me - I’m not much of a tv watcher and don’t like screens to dominate a room). I set up my smaller television which I’d brought from the flat last night, putting it on the bespoke record cabinet that my late Dad made for me many years ago. I’ve also put all my LP’s back in the cabinet, making a nice familiar corner in my “new” lounge.
After all the exertions of the past few days, I’ve been spending the rest of the day just chilling and recuperating.
