That's enough for one evening I think

Sitting having a coffee in the back garden. It's caffeine free so shouldn't stop me having a good night's sleep.

Spent the first half of the day visiting father in law to decipher the letter that actually turned out to be his television licence. He was panicking as it was printed on A4 in the form of a letter, trying to encourage him to 'scan the QR Code and move to an online television licence'. It turns out that the bottom of the page contained his licence...confusing for a non computer or smartphone using 87 year old who has had quite enough to deal with this year. I reassured him his licence was fine and to ignore the letter.

After that a quick trip to a DIY store followed by helping Dad advertise his car for sale. He is using an online service he sold his last one through as it was pretty pain free as these things go.

Then (see extra) I trimmed the outside of the window fitted yesterday. Would love to say it went smoothly but it didn't and a dash back to the DIY store was required. Was hoping to have the inside done too but that's quite enough for one day thank you very much. Have got a cancellation at the hairdressers in the morning...some welcome tlc for a change instead of breaking fingernails ;-D
