Mariposa Lily

I decided to get up to Happy Jack this morning for a hike. I haven't been up in a while and now I have a car that I feel good about driving up the interstate. I went on the Aspen loop and I wasn't quite sure how long it would take. I'd done it years ago. It was a couple hours and a little over 5 miles. It's kind of weird in the summer because there are lots of people camping. I'm used to the winter and no one is there, just skiers. The camping spots are not in the trail system but there are a lot of people around. However, the hiking was pretty much solitary, which is how I like it. 
There are still lots of wildflowers and these lilies are some of my favorites.
