Mr. and Mrs. Goldfinch

We had the both of them to the diner this morning. It was fun to see them, along with the cardinals. I saw the dad cardinal feeding the youngster the other day. They were on the railing and the "baby" was doing it's little "feed me" shake and dad was complying.
On a very exciting note, Dan saw our first Monarch of the season today. I have yet to see one but I am very happy and relieved that they have made it. We have such good milkweed for them this year.
