Holy Hosta!

They've gone wild! Hardy little devils they are...even the gout weed cannot deter them! They make my day.. I sit out there on the deck with my coffee and admire their purpleness and that despite all odds, they have managed to bloom. 

Of course the tedious task of cutting down all those stalks later puts a bit of a damper on things, but that is for another day - probably the day I return from my next visit to the cottage. Until then..I am just going to enjoy the view.
