Apple pastry

Thanks to those who participated in yesterday’s song challenge and for the kindness shown to the abstract.

Today’s blip is clearly a pastry but what sets it apart from other pastries is its name. Some of you might know what it is right away. But for others, here are a couple of clues:
1. It’s named after a large mammal.
2. Those weird protrusions are meant to be “toes”.

We finally got some rain yesterday and overnight. Big winds, booms and flashes. It was nice. Neighbor on the left took off this morning to visit family for a month. She joins other neighbor gone until late August. It’s going to be (too) quiet around here. Already today I had my psychotherapy session and a dental appointment. Afterwards, I stopped to get a chicken salad sandwich for lunch and picked up this pastry which is known as a………….. bear claw!
