Skipper

It was a hot one.  

Down in the meadows it was good to see that another couple of the summer butterfly species have now emerged, with my first sightings for the year of Small Skipper (main image) and Gatekeeper. Also out and about were: Ringlet,  Meadow Brown, Large White, Small White, Small Heath, Large Skipper, Red Admiral and Speckled
