And finally a real bed!

After almost 48 hours in A&E I was moved into a bed that had previously been arranged by the surgeon but due to acute pressures on the NHS was withdrawn. The only way I could be admitted now was through A&E. I was taken to a side room and fell asleep only to be woken at 0300 to be moved here. A four bay ward in the hospital tower block.
