Meal out with the kids

Picked up my friends dog just before 9 as we are dog sitting over the weekend whilst Susan heads to Liverpool with another friend as a pre birthday treat.

Finished the last few bits of cleaning before the kids arrived this evening. Phin’s paw pad had healed pretty well so Mr PHL took both digs to Newbattle so I could finish the hoovering and wash the kitchen floor. It was pretty muggy so it didn’t take very long to dry.

Miss PHL arrived around 5 and we had a nice catch up before her brother and his wife arrived just before 7.

We’d booked a table at a local Italian which is only a 20 minute walk away and luckily it stayed dry for us to walk there any back. The food was tasty and they put a candle in Miss PHL’s pudding which was nice.

We played a round of Logo when we got home and then headed to bed.
