Sally Mair - Loving life

Firstly thank you everyone for the good wishes for Pickle yesterday.
When Ali phoned today she was told that she's doing well on her IV fluids and is now eating and drinking well. We don't know whether anything is improving though or if she is simply responding to the IV. The picture is much brighter though. Everyone Ali has spoken to has said what a lovely friendly cat she is, not in the least put out at being in hospital and desperate to greet and be stroked by everyone she sees.
It's been busy today (for a change!) Colin and I nipped out to Craigie for a late lunch arriving before both the crowds and the rain. All very pleasant. When we got back I set to, upgrading a little pink lightweight blazer which I picked up last week with the addition of a couple of rather attractive old, gold coloured buttons. It looks much better now I think. It didn't have any buttons before.
Katy etc got home from their week on Skye, the girls had a great time in and out of the water every day in spite of the changeable weather. Nice to have both my girls nearby again .
My blip is of a little single person, Imari design, Noritake Coffee set. It would originally have been part of a larger set, but I think it makes a very elegant set for one. I picked it up a few years ago and I think it's time we part company lovely though it is. It does make a pretty EB.
