Moonrise at the Ladies

There is an old man made rock pool at Merewether beach which is called the Ladies Pool.  It was where beach belles of yester year partook of the delights of the sea.  The rocks to the right form the northern end of it which is where I caught the near full moon rising tonight.

Some surfers were out and there were some big sets as you can see in the extra.
