Being silly (2)

It didn't go as planned today.  I had booked places on a boat trip to see the Maunsell Forts off Whitstable but No.1 was not feeling up to it after yesterday.  However No.2 and H were going to go.........until sat nav said two hours and he hadn't left himself enough time (Blackwall Tunnel shut again).  However they still went and had fish and chips on the beach.  We had a slow day, pottering and enjoying the sunshine.  No.2 called in on his way home and as ever, he was entertaining and good fun.  He is going to Brands Hatch with OH tomorrow (birthday present for OH) and was remembering his days on his moped (he has been mobile with his own wheels since aged 16).  Lovely to be together (minus JC who is in Wales) but sad No.1 is finding it all a bit difficult - although still smiling.  Onwards and upwards.
