Unhinged

Another early walk for me today..out just after 8 a.m …there was a nice cool  breeze and plenty of blue sky.

My finger finally stopped bleeding around teatime last night ..almost 20 hours after I cut it..although I did knock it this morning which started it off again..fairly briefly though.

This old gate hinge hook caught my eye in the sunshine..the gate with the hinge has long gone..and this post has been lying on the ground for a while!

By happy accident, I had left the camera in 16:9 mode after trying some landscape shots and it actually seems to fit this subject quite nicely.
