Ornate Benches

We were grandchildren sitting today - first day of the school holiday - as our daughter was sleeping after a night shift.

We collected the girls around 9 a.m. and went off to Wentworth Castle Gardens, an NT property near Barnsley.

There were plenty of activities to keep them occupied and we also had a couple of sessions in the playground.

Apart from a picnic lunch ( and an ice cream break) we haven’t stopped all day.

The ornate benches are sited outside the large Victorian conservatory (glasshouse) - the painted metalwork caught my eye. Quick phone blip.

Girls delivered home around 5 p.m and we now have to fight the A1 roadworks traffic to get home.
