Bull

The train station may be the most impressive edifice in Birmingham. I don’t know whether the redevelopments of Birmingham city centre in recent years mean that the Bullring and New Street have now morphed into the same place. But the platforms we used are accessible somewhere beneath the huge bull installation.

We manoeuvred here in the morning to mooch and drink coffee after a hearty breakfast and checking out. A whistle-stop visit to Birmingham but wonderful to see the uni gang after not visiting the UK for a year.
