Road closed

Early walk and then hubby and I cycled out to a village a few miles away for a coffee. We were aware that the place we enjoy locally has another one so thought we would try it. The ride was easy with cycle path or quiet roads all the way. The only obstacle was one road was closed and to go round would have not only took much longer but required that we were on two very busy roads so we cycled through it. On the way they were setting up but on the way back the party was in full swing. When we took Hetty on her walk we looked over the old railway bridge and had a good view of the street party, we could hear the music from our garden.
Another lovely day with very few jobs done, but they can wait until it rains.
Finished my book, which was brilliant and started another.
