Tea For Two

The teapot we have been using is getting on a bit, the knob on the lid is cracked and glued, the handle has lost one of the countersunk covers despite being secured after a distinct wobble and the pot is decidedly scratched. We took it on after Mr Flum's aunt died and she had used it for many years before that so it must be forty or fifty years old at least.

When we saw a shiny pristine one for sale at the weekend we considered how Auntie D would feel if we replaced hers, decided she wouldn't be offended (she was lovely) and bought it.

What with two of these, my old Stratford one and two silver plated ones (in variable functional condition) we are well set-up for a tea party.
