Cool with a few Thunderstorms!

A rather startling and very short thundershower this morning - a few loud cracks and a couple minutes of big fat rain drops, and then it was done. We so rarely hear thunder here that it was quite a thrill!

My son and the grands came for lunch today and everyone was much better behaved than last week. Later on I tried a gentle game of golf. My back is tweaking a bit but it was sure great to be out on the course again!

Sophie, my youngest cat, has created a little bed for herself at the back of the courtyard garden. She tucks back in behind the yarrow and hides in the cool soil. She’s cute as a button and thinks that no one can see her!
