On cue

MrRIU and I attempted breakfast at the same place as last week. We were asked by the waiter to sit in a particular area as he was on his own. There were large groups either side of us and people continued to arrive. The man was trying to seat new arrivals, take orders, make drinks and deliver orders to tables. We left after 10 minutes, just as he came for our drink order. 20 minutes later we were in Sainsburys with our food.

We thought that by the time we'd eaten and done a food shop we'd probably only be eating if we'd stayed.

Later on I visited Pa. He was persuaded to cut the first cucumber for me. We could have left it to grow but it was a delicious treat.
