On the edge
A better day today, though as often it began rather overcast. I’d been intending to go to Ardmaddy Castle garden this afternoon with the u3a Garden Group, but as luck would have it I’ve picked up some bug or other, probably from my contact with more people than usual in London and on the train home. It didn’t seem fair to be coughing and sneezing over everybody so I stayed at home!
So Blipwise it’s the usual attempt to find something in flower around the house! Today’s Blip, growing on the edge of the drive bed, is Dianthus ‘Percussion’, though when I Googled this it didn’t seem to exist! “Whatever”! There are so many similar cultivars!
After lunch the clouds became less solid and the sun began to shine through. Mrs M and I, plus the two cats, spent a couple of hours outside with books - and of course cups of tea! Well OK, the cats can’t read or drink tea, but you know what I mean!
