Passing through

The two people in the picture are friends who left Dubai twenty-odd years ago. Today, they were passing through on their way to Zambia. It took several messages to meet up, but we made it, even if for an hour. Malkanthi got there before us, and the clever staff figured out she was looking for us!

Before this, I spent several hours ironing/helping G get ready for her holiday. We then went to IKEA to change the colour of a shelf I bought a few weeks ago. There wasn't time to find the colour I wanted so I just did a return.

After meeting Malkathi and Sanjeev, we went back to IKEA and got the shelf we wanted. At nearly 10 PM, it was still heaving. Even the cafe. They even ran out of ice cream. We got home and put the shelf in place right away. G was impressed with my work around the new TV's feet hanging over the unit it is standing on.
