Poppy

I was sweating just hanging my washing out early this morning, so I was pretty sure that going for my first run in over a month would not be a very sensible idea.  It felt like I did about twenty five loads of washing, but at least it all dried.
 
BB was working today, so was out early (for him!).  TT went to church.  I pottered all morning, doing a few jobs here and there, then went for a walk, around our local circuit, and passed a field that had just been combined.  The first I have seen this year.  I picked up a few bits for lunch on my way home, then prepared lunch when I did get home. 
 
Later in the afternoon I went down into town to buy a birthday gift, and then walked home taking a detour around by the river.    It got very dark and then started to rain while I was out, but I made it home without getting too wet.  Later I picked BB up after work.  He quickly got changed and then headed out for dinner with R.
 
Meanwhile I made roasted salmon, with a bean salad and new potatoes - Ayrshire potatoes, which felt like a blast from the past and they took me back to my childhood.
 
TT watched another James Bond movie, the final Pierce Brosnan–I watched  bit, but as ever I got fed up!
 
This is a very small poppy, it is not a very large hoverfly!
