Under A Curved Bough

The dead snag (dead is probably superfluous) is on the other bank of the inlet, possibly 30 feet behind the wildflowers in the foreground. It is out of focus as a consequence, even with an aperture of f14, which I didn't intend.

I chose a viewpoint to position the flowers under the curved bough. It might have worked better if there were less space between the two. Whether I could have got lower, I'm not sure because the flowers were 40 feet or so away with more prairie plants in the way.

I'll have to check next time.
